Marcus' turn...
Marcus was tattooed today. I snapped the ink caps and vaseline during a wee break. I went a wander round the town for a wee while on my own today while Marcus and Bez were working out what they were going to be doing, they both scrapped the original idea and went for a female face which takes up most of his inner forearm and a bird sketch that Marcus drew up. It looks awesome and it was a joy to see Bez work, he is constantly think about perspectives, light sources, colouring and you can almost hear his brain ticking away.
I went to a local museum where there was a photography exhibition on famous comedians taken from the national portrait gallery. It was amazing. I also went through Mowbray park and was happily lying on the grass face down snapping away when a lovely wee chap came over to help me up as he thought I had fallen over :) It's a really beautiful park.
I mostly watched Marcus being tattooed and chatted away to Glen (another tattooist from Newton Aycliffe) and his wife Vicki. I also bought some tartan shoes...oh the irony.
We were in the studio from 10.30 until about 9, got lost coming home and collapsed into bed - tired but happy.
