Arun Quay

Trip to Glasgow to visit the Model Rail Scotland show. It was really nice to do something normal and forget about the world for a few hours. There was excellent layouts. As always I am quite taken by the industrial layouts. The Arun Quay layout was particularly good. The quality of the model building is just astonishing. I really love its simplicity. The other layout I really liked was the Montague Field (see extra). Really gritty industrial setting with lots to look at. As always we walked back along the river to Queen Street Station to take the bus home.
