Mining Relic

A last walk in Poynton today to the canal. On the way we passed the old workshops and offices which served the surrounding pits which closed in 1935. The building left in splendid isolation was the magazine store used for storing amonite and later dynamite, used for breaking up large rocks that were in the way.
