Woodpecker

A nice sunny start to the day and I was out with the Nature group.  This was the first organised meeting in person since Covid so it was great to meet up with some of the group.   We have been having regular monthly meetings on zoom which isn't the same especially if you are new to the group as I am.  We had a slow stroll around Stover Country Park where the main focus is birds at this time of year.  We had fun taking shots of blue tits, nut hatches and various gulls in flight but my favourite shot was of this Great Spotted Woodpecker which we heard call and then came relatively close to some nearby trees.   A very enjoyable morning out.

This afternoon was spent going through all the photos and deleting lots.
