Signs of Spring

Lovely start to the day to see this little blue tit investigating a bird box on the garage. We’ve also had a black cap in the garden - first extra.
Completely done in after my latest trip to Bristol - ready for another day in the countryside. And how very fortunate we are - that we can do this and simply enjoy. We planned a Dales day - the Buckden Round - but added in Buckden Pike as well (my suggestion-not sure why?) - nearly 25ksteps - should sleep well tonight! montage - second extra. Pretty Wintery on the top but the Dales were wearing a delicious warm glow in the late afternoon sun as we drove home. Good view of a barn owl on a stone wall was lovely to see - one that got away
