Brass Band Contest

For the first time since March 2020 our band played at a contest today, run by the Oxford & District Brass Band Association. Entries were well down on pre-COVID years, understandably, with only one other band competing in our section. They won but we did scoop the best cornet, horn and euphonium awards. We were especially pleased to play as two of our players tested positive this week and are now self-isolating (both percussionists!).
