Benbow pond, Cowdray

Had to go into Midhurst this morning and decided to visit Benbow pond which is just outside Midhurst.

We were surprised to see little goslings and their Egyptian geese in February

The memorial was built in 2000 for the 3rd Viscount Cowdray

The black swan was sitting on a nest and her mate visited her. The two cygnets from last year are still there but are dark grey and have yet to turn black.

There is a lot of mistletoe in the trees in the lime tree diamond jubilee avenue
