Sheffield Quacker
The day started with a trip to an Orienteering event along Froggatt Edge near Curbar in the Hope Valley. A steep rocky area with a killer Climb onto the tussocky moor. My legs definitely felt it.
Then a journey into Sheffield to rendezvous with youngest son Thomas. We had a walk through the Botanical Gardens complete with a bear pit ( not very photogenic! ). Endcliffe Park provided the Blip with this fine Mandarin duck. Good to have a gentle walk to loosen the limbs and even better to see Thomas.
Just turning round before meeting up with Thomas for a meal at a popular restaurant he wanted to try called V or V. Suspect we may sleep well tonight!
Another event in Wharncliffe Woods tomorrow on the way home.
