Back home from the Fens and back to prepare for these boys getting a haircut.
Storms Dudley, Eunice and Franklin failed to get the ‘Crack Willows’ to crack so a four man lumber-jacking crew with two climbers and two haulers are arriving Monday to take 30 ft off the top.
We took the fence down to give the workers somewhere to land the boughs on our side of the stream.
Said storms also failed to flatten the fence despite 2 of the four posts having rotted off and the other two being lose. It is not a trick of perspective, that post really is leaning at that angle.
I don’t think it will be as quick putting the fence back.....
