Checking the buds for bugs

A beautiful day.  We've worked in the garden, untangling clematis from the fencing before the new panels go up on Wednesday and taking down the trellis.

Lots of birds around, plus bees, flies and a tiny little hoverfly, which sat on my finger for a while.

We had a bistro table delivered towards the end of the year, which matches the existing dining table and chairs, so I built that while JJ cleared out the window channels in the conservatory.

A full-on and very satisfactory day.  I'm now going to go down to watch the rugby (and eat chocolate).
