...on wearing her peachy lipstick.

Haven't had much time or inspiration for photos in the last few days but did like the look of these grapes in my "mid century" blue dish (see extra).  Thought I'd also throw in some lightness onto the last few days with a plug for one of our favourite producers of tea-towels from New Zealand artist Cecily.  She has made some crackers over the years.  "Cecily would rather be lost in a book than found in the kitchen."

Ellie is still not home.  We have taken a "better safe than sorry" approach for this weekend.  As far as we know (at about 4 this afternoon) she's not eating yet but getting everything she needs for nutrition etc at the vet.  More news tomorrow when we hope to hear that things have calmed down for her.

(Each year my mother gives us "Seasons Greetings" style paper napkins which we never use so we have decided to start using them in lieu of paper towels!)
