I Don’t Remember Them Being There Before

It was an absolutely beautiful sunny day today, so I made the most of our lunchtime walk. I think our neighbours must have planted these crocuses on the verge outside their house last year as I don’t remember them being there before.

Every spring I wish I had planted more bulbs the previous year, I need to make a note of the gaps now so I don’t forget when it gets to bulb planting season.

Things get put into perspective and become very real when you get a work email about our 42 Ukrainian colleagues. I hope they and their families are safe and it’s good to know that they are being supported by the company, but sad that so many people don’t have anyone to help them.
