Hungry blackbird

I stopped for a few minutes to watch this little fellow on my way to work. I thought at first that he had some nesting material in his beak, as he was making no attempt to do anything with it. On a closer look it looked like bread - but no attempt to eat it.
I had just enough time to take a quick snap before he decided that he'd had enough of me staring at him and flew off.
