The bark and the ivy

A quiet day today. It has been grey and overcast for most of the day and we have even had some drizzle. This afternoon we had a wander around the garden, this big old tree is in the wooded area at the bottom of the garden. I liked the ivy growing up the trunk and the patterns in the bark.
