Amazonia

had a lovely birthday which mainly involved looking at photography and eating. We went to the Wildlife photographer exhibition at the Natural History Museum , which is always a treat.  Then on to the Science museum where we managed a brief meeting with my goddaughter who works in the 'wonder lab' there. I love all the hands-on exhibits here and one of the extras is my photographing the display of lightning.  Managed to get last minute tickets for Amazonia (thanks to a mention in walkingmarj's blip) . I loved how this exhibit of photographs by Sebastião Salgado was so beautifully laid out and lit.  Even loved the patterns on the floor (other extra). Finished off the day with dinner at the RAF club.
