perfect day

We spent a lovely afternoon at a farm, it was an organised tour through a Home Ed group. Chickpea loved it and didn't stop giggling the whole time. She fed and pet a tiny baby lamb, had a tour through the lamb nursery and got to ride in a tractor trailer. We also fed the older sheep and lambs and took a walk through the farm and a wooded area. There was still snow to play in, too, which was a huge hit! Monkey enjoyed it as well from the comfort of his sling.

When we came home we got to spend some time with our Australian visitors- the kids have fallen in love with them already and it's been great having them here, meeting Rhianna for the first time and catching up with Neil after such a long time. We also had a mini late birthday party- a birthday is not recognized by Chickpea unless there is cake, candles and a song so that had to be done.
