The Langdales

The workshop finished after breakfast. Typical, it was the best day of the week with glorious sunshine! I hadn't quite made my mind up what to do today but when I saw the snow on top of the fells I knew I had to explore them. 

I took a rather long route cross country before realising that I had ended up back in Windermere ... and in a traffic jam. As I continued to travel North I decided that a drive through the Langdales looked promising. There were some stunning views, with the snow capped hills. A thoroughly enjoyable drive, with a few stops along the way. It was then time to head home.
