On the inside

It's been a super busy day. First off, Petra came at 8:30 for the visit she promised on Monday. We sat and chatted over tea (coffee for her) until G came home from school. And then I got picked up by Diane, and we went to Al Seef for a coffee. She's been on holiday, so we had a lot of catching up to do.

Back home for a quick bite before heading out again, this time to listen to a talk on Deep Sea Robotic Exploration. It was a lot more interesting than I thought it would be. :) The main aim of going was to get into the building. I took a few pictures, and we bought a fridge magnet before leaving.

Home for the rest of the day, both at our desks, working. :)) G managed to find the semi-final match of the ATP500 tour that's taking place in Dubai. Vesely, the Czech player who toppled Novak Djokovic off this No. 1 world ranking, is struggling today.
