Dry run

Today I had a dry run of the guided walk I'm leading later this month. When I say dry I mean really wet and very very muddy. Good job I did it though - I discovered that the County Council had closed one of the bridleways (for 'elf and safety reasons apparently) - this necessitated a two mile detour which, if discovered on the day, might have produced some disgruntled punters. I have two guided walks to lead this month then nothing until November when I have an Armistice Day walk to organise.
