Music lesson

“Wot sort of guitar’s that?” Sez I.
“Some people call them archtops” came the reply.

“Why’s that then?”
“Because the top is curved like a violin”

“What does that do?”
“We’ll, because they’re hollow it makes them resonate better giving a more mellow tone”.

I paused for a while wondering which new word to seek the meaning of first. Then I gave up and wondered how long it was to dinner time.

“Does it make you play better?” Sez I.
“Sadly no” came the reply.

“Never mind” sez I, “it’s very shiny”
