Whirlpool

A local radio station is promoting this event, worlds biggest whirlpool you can see from this shoot there were quite a few people in the water. Bacon and Egg Rolls, sausages and coffee were on the house. I went around twice!! 
You can see in the background signs saying save our baths and leave it as is, I had a chance to speak to one of the engineers and what he had to say made a lot of sense and I understand that the work needs to be done as these baths are over 100 years old and need a makeover. 
You can see in the background the walls being propped up these were the laddies dressing shed currently the men's have been cut in half to accommodate ladies.
The engineer reckoned a 14 month turn around but I recon 24 months to be realistic biggest issue being the weather and big seas.
