Annoyance!

This afternoon I headed into town for a Blip and to get a few things from town. The weather was pretty grim, but as I passed the Arboretum the sun came out, so I decided to take a couple of shots in the park...

Only to discover that the battery had fallen out of my camera. The tape must have come loose somehow and I must have sealed it again when putting it into its case. So I took this shot on my phone.

The annoying things continued in town when it was really hard to find certain things I wanted. I wanted to get a few Vegan bits for Grace from M&S'  Plant Kitchen range as well as pick up stuff to make Fajitas for tea. They had all except one crucial (In my eyes) thing - the Dip Tray! Fajitas with no chilli cheese dip is a no-no! Jalapenos and sour cream are also necessary.

I put back everything else I knew Tesco Express would have and went to pay for the Vegan articles. No manned checkouts - not one! I detest self-checkouts, and they are not fond of me either as they always decide to go weird when I use them,  meaning the one human around has to come and help me. I had to wait as she was helping someone else... Hardly any customers like using these machines and staff will lose their jobs yet they insist on continuing to foist them on us.

Tesco Express also had no Dip Tray! Aaarghh!! I got the rest of the ingredients there and asked Bri to bring me one from the main Tesco in the end! The Fajitas were yummy when they were made too. The M&S Vegan chicken pieces are the nicest ever!

All this is inconsequential First World Problems and they are nothing in comparison to the fact that we now appear to be on the brink of a European war. This is a far more terrifying prospect than ever Covid was.
