Ecstasy

Today is our 48th wedding anniversary and also the first birthday of our youngest granddaughter, Megan" so a double family celebration. We started with all the family who could be present, having lunch out and then back to have a birthday cake with Megan.

Val and I have always celebrated out anniversary by buying something for the house so we are diligently looking to see what fits the bill this year. Where have those 48 years gone?

But before all this took place we had out morning walk with Jinxy. We left Morton in thick mist but as we climbed up onto the moor we past through the lower layers of mist into golden sunshine. Jinxy loves to roll in the grass and this morning he appeared to be enveloped in a golden haze with droplets of dew glinting in the sunshine, he was in ecstasy!
