Seems to be a popular date for starting wars.

Continuing the military metaphor, my body is at war with the booster shot that was injected into my arm yesterday afternoon. I battled through the day but got permission to skip the Board and Council meeting so that I can go home and have an early night. Hopefully I'll be fit for work tomorrow.
