Slim pickings today, I'm afraid.

In response to the question, "What would you like today?", I always say, "Just take two inches off.".
Today I thought I'd mix it up a bit and replied,
"Just take three inches off.".
I was unable to discern the hairdresser's expression, but she seemed to take it calmly.
