Dig

The wind had thrown the barriers around this huge hole in the pavement all over the place this morning as I walked to work….quite the hazard. No sign of a beautiful mosaic floor at the bottom of the trench though, unlike what I saw had been discovered on a dig in central London.
Busy day in the office and then home to prep for supper tomorrow when A, T &V are coming round. There had been filthy weather in the afternoon but I managed to time my walk home to avoid a deluge and just navigate through a more normal level of rain. N made another version of Char Sui pork…developing his set of specialities. This one was quite good but more of a faff to make than the last one.. Anyone got a good recipe for it?
Early night….can’t face the news at the moment as Ukraine declares a state of emergency.
