Early Grey

I put my moth trap out for the first time this year....it must be spring.

This moth is on the wing between March and early May, it's caterpillar feeds on wild honeysuckle. I don't usually catch many of these a year but I do like them because they are one of the first and they are a lovely soft grey colour.

This is my first try at moths with this camera and no macro. I usually use a point and shoot as it is quicker and gives better results for a specimin shot but I don't have one at the moment.
