The walker

Last day at the hospital yesterday in the current cycle so this afternoon we were free to go for a walk alongside the River Weaver. I’ve not followed this route for over two years but there were very few others there so I had no concerns. C. was keen to spot a great crested grebe and was lucky to see one. All the vegetation looks drab and battered by the wind we’ve had but hopefully signs of spring will be evident soon.
