incoming tide

Little opportunity for blipping today so after work I got hubby to drop me down at the River Varrigall and headed out towards the estuary. The land you can see in the foreground of the blip is quite often completely covered at a high tide (like yesterday) so I had to make sure I got my blip and got back to safer ground before the tide came in completely!

Funny sort of day weather-wise, it has got more and more hazy as the day went on and almost looked quite thundery as we headed home from work. Just had one shower of rain so far but I am just waiting for the heavens to open!

The view is looking towards Portree and the Storr way off in the distance. Go large if you fancy a paddle!
