Euan and Mummy Go to Work

Euan stayed in bed till past 6.45 this morning and earned himself a star for his chart, two more and he will be able to go to the ice cream parlour!

It’s all go in a morning as he has reached the stage where he wants to do things for himself and this often turns into delaying tactics.  However he does enjoy riding to Nursery with Mummy or Daddy so that gets him moving.  

Once everyone had left, Tony and I set to work. Tony saw to the clothes washing and clearing of the kitchen whilst I set out to Waitrose’s to shore for ingredients for two recipes Becky asked me to try.  When I returned with such exotic things as red pepper flakes and white miso, Tony was busy making fruit flans from the excess pears and apples.  After a cuppa I took out all the ingredients for the first recipe and created a spicy chickpea dish which was froze; in to lunch pots for Becky to take to work.

Tony ran in to Oxford to take Becky her forgotten phone and there was just time to prepare the lasagne for dinner before we left to collect Euan from Nursery.
