Plan B...

...foiled by the floods...

Pilates this morning, and as we reached home a quick check of the floods round our reservoir for an insurance blip, as the forecast for this afternoon was for rain. The road was mostly clear, and this SUV managed without incident...

My plan was to visit a different reservoir for today's theme - but half way there our path was cut off by wall to wall floods. Neither of us fancied wet feet, so we beat a hasty retreat - and as we turned round the rainbow in extras appeared, and stayed with us all the way back home. There was just enough rain blowing in the wind to keep it going ;) 

The other extra is of the first lambs we've seen outside. We heard them before we saw them - lots of bleating and there was much consternation in the ranks as the lambs tried to find the right mums. One little black lamb was rushing from ewe to ewe - we assume they haven't been out in the field very long ;)
