Shots 0 Dover 0

There was a minutes silence before tonight's game to commemorate the IRA bombing in Aldershot fifty years ago.  This was the first IRA bomb on the British mainland and one which saw a padre, and six civilians - one gardener and five female cleaners - murdered.  Rest in Peace....

Rumour has it that we are going to hold another memorial service at our next home game to commemorate when the Shots last played football.  Once again, we were awful.  Playing one up front against the team who are bottom of the league and who have lost 23 of their 28 fixtures this season is dire.  But happy birthday to Slabbers Charlie (age 71) and Hayley (age 23).  Both of whom should have had something better to celebrate.
