I was very puzzled by why the jellies I’d made for A to take to work in her lunchboxes weren’t setting, and then we worked out it was because I’d added fresh pineapple and that breaks down the protein in the gelatine! Who’d have thought it…disappointing though.
A day of interviews….surprised by the outcome but it was clear and unanimous. Suspect there will be some fall out mind you.
Home whacked out (I have to stop waking at 5am but it’s not deliberate, it’s just when I wake up!) and so it was nice that A had made some home made pasta and created a dish with sausage, mushroom and cream sauce. Very good! I caught up on email and then had an early night
