Bloomin’ lovely

K’s garden is looking fantastic at the moment. These planter boxes and the border behind them make me simply beam with pleasure. It’s amazing what summer colour can do.

I was heading for a nonstop picking, watering, cooking day again, until I sat down at lunchtime and had a chat with myself. The result was two afternoon hours on the window seat with my book. It was fantastic time out.
