Auction Item #3

$5 and it was all mine. A very dirty, mange looking foosball table I thought would clean up well and entertain the kids forever. One look and my sweetheart wanted to take it to the dump, but after an hour of intense cleaning, it was as if brand new. It turned out not only to be a foosball table, but a ping pong table, shuffle board, checker board, chess board, and air hockey table. All the pieces were there and in great shape. What a find!


Spent the whole day bidding on furniture that we needed for the home...4 dressers, a few rugs, a huge desk that we will have to re think ownership of since we can't carry it but a few feet a day, 2 dining tables (for utilitarian uses, I told myself), a few side tables, and the most luxurious item of all...a sleigh bed (okay, not so practical, but dreamy).

I love auctions!! I think I got a little addicted and shouldn't have bid on a couple of things in hindsight, but since this was my first time to such a venue, I forgive myself. It was so much fun.
