Discovering
I was aware of Myddleton Hal Gardens over in Enfield but never been. It's always strange the way we don't get round to visiting places on our doorstep.Well, 20 minutes away.
A country house owned by a Victorian botanist. Beautiful gardens and apparently he particularly liked bulbs. Hence this magnificent display of crocus. Amazing they hav'n't all been dug up by the squirrels.
I tried a bit of Intentional Camera Movement with the fisheye. Helped by a stiff wind.
There are succulent glass houses and a pond plus garden equipment decoratively scattered around. Well worth a visit if you are over that way. Whats more it's free. How can you resist if you found yourself round the top section of the M25 with an hour to spare.
