I suppose I can call it that when the survey site is in the village here.

It was a stinker of a job wading through brambles ditches and bogs then some scrub so dense you could hardly walk through. Mustn't grumble.

At the desk early evening I picked up an email from the client for a job done on Skye last week where part of the exercise was to stake out some corners for him as well as the usual topo.
He had to get the police to talk to a nearby resident who had vandalised my stakes. It wasn't a child or a mischievous youth but a knuckle dragging bonehead harbouring some grudge about the project. He probably watched  from behind a curtain as I installed the markers.

I was "vexed".
