Ladder ...

... looking along Rue de Tolbiac at the corner of Rue des Peupliers (on the left and on which we live).  We were returning from getting cash from our bank on the Avenue d'Italie at Metro Tolbiac (behind us).

We had a lovely visit for tea and pastries  today from our friends Sylviane and Bernard who live at the top of our building.  He is a retired physicist and so knows the name Van de Graaff well.
