Lazy day

I had a long lie in with my novel while Mr EAnn and Gorgeous Boy (who stayed over last night) repurposed my old laptop as a Minecraft server.
The boy is determined to get me hooked on Minecraft, he’s set himself quite a challenge. Especially when it involves disturbing my quiet reading time.
It’s been lovely having him here. We caught the news of the planned Covid changes and he was visibly upset at the thought that to keep me and grandad safe might mean not being able to see us again.
A treat for him was a trip to Taco Bell for lunch and while we were out we got a birthday cake and cards for his mums birthday on Friday.
