Amaryllis/ hippeastrum

Hippeastrum tiny pollen grains, for Tiny Tuesday. I wonder how hard it is to grow them from seed. I've only ever seen bulbs. They must self seed in the wild I suppose.  I looked it up, they grow wild in South Africa. If  a single one looks good, then lots of them growing wild must be spectacular.
Todays date 22022022 is a palindrome and an ambigram. The same backwards forwards and upside down though I haven't tested that one by standing on my head. But I always think of the 22nd of February as "Thinking Day" from when I was in the Brownies. I was never sure what you are supposed to think about.
