Mu Cang Chai

The beautiful mountainous rice terraces of Mu Cang Chai. Not as green as they usually are in peak rice growing season, but you get the idea. The drive today through the mountainous provinces of Northern Vietnam has been nothing short of spectacular. Some of the most beautiful scenery I've seen over here, and seeing the Hmong, White Thai and Black Thai ethnic minorities going about they're daily business was a real highlight. No fake 'touristy' villages up this way :-)
