“It’s Not Raining Too Much” She Said!

Mr Kit and I headed out this morning to the outdoor shop for some new walking boots and a few other bits and bobs. We ended up spending a lot more than we expected to, but don’t you always in that kind of shop?

As we were driving home I had a message from my friend K asking if I wanted to join her for a dog walk. “It’s not raining too much” she said…and I believed her!

Well, it wasn’t raining too much until we reached the furthest point from home, and then the heavens opened and it rained in biblical proportions. We both got absolutely drenched, my new boots stayed dry until the water started running down my legs inside them!

Luckily the dogs (and ducks) loved it, Dylan was happy to share his towel with me in the car and Mr Kit had a nice warm cup of tea and the fire lit for when I got home.
