Church of the Good Shepherd

After the heat and brilliance of yesterday woke to a much different day
At Tekapo had a browse through a fabulous bookshop and made some purchases. I can’t resist a good bookshop. One was a beautiful pictorial book of the area, the other is called 5,203 things to do instead of looking at your phone
The only photo I took was this historic church which isn’t even open to visitors at the moment. Any normal summer it would be seething with busloads of tourists.
We meandered home stopping at Fairlie for one of their famous pies, for me today it was chicken and a cream donut. How delinquent but we were on holiday
