Strava Day 268/ 75 Hard Off Phase Day 25.
It is raining here and am grateful because since Ate M is no longer with us, we take turns watering the plants.

Grateful always for calm, quiet mornings but told T yesterday when he was feeling down that spontaneous hugs and free back massages are always welcome.

Today's motivation/external validation came from the 6 minute podcast by Mike Matthews (@muscleforlifefitness on Instagram) :
"It's ok to flounder too...Turn your gaze inward. Look at who you were. Look at who you are. Look at who you hope to become.
Don't let anybody railroad you into a lifestyle that doesn't serve you.
Whatever works for you is valid...Trust yourself.
Whatever you do, don't get so gripped by the cacophony of conflicting rules and methods that you spend more time thinking than training."

Discovered a new song by Rangga Jones on Spotify: "A Little Bit Patient" but I enjoy listening to Charlie Puth's Light Switch and Reese Lansangan's Dekimasu, B likes it as well since he has always wanted to visit his relatives in Japan.

Today's Tuesday here so am intentionally letting go of my need to have order and calm all the time. After all, surviving traumas and overcoming fears make us realize we are always stronger than the "monsters in our head."
Will definitely drink more than a gallon but will still not be able to track macros as of yet since the reroofing of B's workspace has not been finished yet. Here's to you persevering and choosing to slow down when you need to. Gratitude.

P.S. Title is Korean for "It's fine." or "It's okay." Not Korean, just love the quality of their series on Netflix. I have probably binge watched more than a hundred Korean shows in the past couple of years since COVID hit. Their songs on Spotify are fun as well.
