Life In Wales

Smile for the Camera!

Yvonne asked me if I could help with one of her holiday lets this morning, but it took longer than expected as the family that had rented it for the weekend left it in a pretty awful state.  I'd one on my own as Yvonne had to nip to another property in Rhyl, but joined me a couple of hours later.  She wasn't happy with how they'd left it and said it was unlikely they'll be getting their deposit back.  As such I was there for 5 hours - it is a 3 storey house though, and it looked lovely again by the time we'd finished.

I had said that I'd try and pop into the zoo this afternoon to do a shift, so I went straight there and got there about 3.30pm.  I only spent an hour but I managed to get them some nice photos.  My blip is a quick phone shot on my way out - they chimps had been brought inside and were eating.

I've added a couple of extras which are photographically better, but I love the chimp's smile.  One of the extras is  of a guy and his daughter watching the snow leopard from the viewing area.  I was at the far end of the enclosure and zoomed in to get the shot, and as they came out I showed them it and took their email address so I could send it to them.  I love their expressions!
