Listened to Putin’s maddening ramble. But he’s not stupid and puts Ukraine in an agonising position: see the separatist areas up to conflict line and possibly whole of Donetsk and Luhansk administrative areas occupied and torn away or fight and have full weight of overwhelmingly superior and lethal military might of Russia rain down on Kiev, other cites and concentrations of Ukrainian forces with covert attack on resistance leaders, politicians, journalists etc.

What will Europe and America do?
