...that was handy... and it was sooo lovely to see the sun again...

We extended our round the block walk to take in the res as well - we started out on the road on the far side, but we were soon beaten by the depth of the flooding! See extra

Had to hop over the wall and continue on the mud until we reached the accessible path, which was pretty solid. Couldn't believe how many people thought about driving all the way through - it would have been a stretch even in a big 4x4 ;) 

Discretion being the better part of valour, they either turned round or headed up the hill to find an alternative route...
