Old Man Chamois

I reckon he is at least 13 or 14 years old with horns this long. He was with a younger but mature male (extra), well away from the herd of females and last year’s youngsters.

Thanks so much for your response to yesterday’s bee on crocuses, he won’t have been out of the hive today, it has rained most of the day.

Friends coming round for dinner tonight, first dinner party since covid restrictions have been lifted. I had forgotten how long it takes to prepare a meal for 6!
