Funny guy

The kids were off school today. Didn't stop the little darlings getting up at 6, of course. A lazy morning then George and I headed off the hospital for another check on his hips. Thankfully, everything seems to be fine. Pheeeeeeewwww.

George loves going to cafes. Let's face it, he just loves his grub. Can't imagine where he gets it from. So we had a "treat" stop on the way home and then bought some books to celebrate the good news. George got a pop-up Hippo story, Andrew got a puzzle book and Matthew's was a Wacky Joke book.

So, of course, Matthew was entertaining us at the dinner table. "What does a mammoth do on the motorway?" Answer: "about 5 miles an hour". And so on. George soon saw the way these things are done and chipped in with his own joke: "What is a monkey with a handbag and cheese?" Answer "a gun". How we laughed.
