Crash

Just after 11 last night the tree on the other side of the road came down, smashing the top off the power pole (see extra) and bringing down about 60 metres of overhead cables. The tree guys have been working since before first light and were just leaving when we arrived. No sign of UK Power Networks as yet but they will need a full team including a replacement pole.
This will be a long job to repair.
Lucky for us we are on the 'right' side of a switching point so we have power but over 100 properties aren't so lucky.
